Flue & Chimney Liner Replacements
When having a new woodburning or multifuel stove installed, we always recommend that the chimney is lined with a high-quality flexible flue liner. Essentially, the flue liner is dropped down the chimney through the register plate and then connects up to the stove. As flue liner installers, we offer this service at a competitive price.
When replacing a flue liner, there are a number of different parts required to do the installation. We offer a flue liner installation service, including all required parts from just £795!
Why Might a New Flue Liner be Needed?
Flue liners have three main functions; they improve efficiency, help keep your chimney cleaned and improve safety. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you ensure your flue liner is in good condition before having a stove fireplace installed.
Generally speaking, stainless steel flue liners last around 15-20 years. However, low quality liners can sometimes last less than five. Making sure your flue liner is in good condition pre-installation sets the foundations for ensuring you get maximum enjoyment out of your stove fireplace for years to come.
How do I know if my chimney needs a new flue liner?
One of the easiest ways to know if your flue liner needs replacing is if you notice your chimney walls are deteriorating. If your liner isn’t working properly, the heat and condensation that builds up in the chimney will cause damage to your brick at a higher rate than normal. Of course, if you are unsure if it’s required, get in touch with us and a member of our team will be happy to help.
